# Open Alpha Phase

### Start date: Will annouce in discord

### **Maps and Waves:**

* Players will be summoned randomly to a map daily.
* There will be 4 different maps in <mark style="color:green;">Open Alpha Phase</mark>.
* Each map will have a total of 30 waves to complete.

### **Earn Points:**

* Players earn points by completing certain waves. (similar to closed alpha)
* By starting a new game, a player will earn 500 points. Each 5 waves cleared will grant the player additional 500 points. Clearing all 30 waves and winning the game will grant the player addtional 1,000 points.

* Each player can earn a maximum of 4,000 points per game session, with a cap of 4 games per player, totaling a maximum of 16,000 points per day.
* **Only NFT holder Players** can create unique referral codes to invite others to join. **Both parties** receive a **5%** bonus based on the referred player's points, with a maximum bonus of **5%** per player.
* **Staking Points:** Players who stake their NFTs can earn an additional 4,000 points per day per NFT.
* Please note that Open Alpha Phase points and Closed Alpha Phase points are calculated independently. 1 points ≠ 1 points.&#x20;

### **Points Leaderboard:**

* The [leaderboard](https://app.backwoods.gg/) will display the points earned by each player.
* **Holder points**: Players who hold hero NFTs receive 100% of their earned points.
* **Non-holder points**: Players who do not hold hero NFTs receive 50% of their earned points. (50% of the points from holders' earning)

### **Player Vitality (VIT):**

* Players will be allocated 20 VITs daily at UTC 24:00.
* With a maximum cap of 20 VITs.&#x20;
* Each game session will consume 5 VITs.<br>
